Artist Sasha Holzer has been commissioned to hand carve a series of wood blocks in geometric designs. These original artworks are now being scanned and scaled up to create stone panels that will become a frieze around our Broadwick Street project. Featured here is some work in progress.
This week, we have welcomed two Third year Part I architecture students from Central St Martins as part of the RIBA mentoring scheme. It has been a busy week visiting various schemes on site together with some completed schemes. They said it gave them a good rounded insight into the workings of an architectural practice.
An interesting visit to Albion Stone’s quarry in Portland, Dorset where they have started to stack up the stone for despatch to our Broadwick Street project. Great to see the source of the stone that will be a prominent feature of the building.
