Rushworth Street

Commercial

This former bottling plants for a fizzy drinks manufacturer sits in a conservation area in Southwark. It had been converted to offices and training workshops but required completely updating. Whilst many warehouses in this area have been demolished, Emrys’ scheme retains much of the original façade whilst adding further upper storeys and a new basement to create 40,000 sq ft of office workspace. The upper floors are a palette of corten steel and glass which contrasts with, but also compliments, the brick and Crittall-style industrial aesthetic of the original warehouse building.

We gained planning consent in July 2020.
