Pennybank Chambers

Commercial Mixed-use

Pennybank Chambers, which sits within the Clerkenwell Conservation area was built as a bank with shops and artisan dwellings and recently housed a series of B1 workshops on the ground and upper floors. Emrys have fully refurbished the building to create 20,000 sq ft of very high quality office space to the upper levels with the introduction of three retail units to the ground floor. A new sixth floor roof extension sits behind the existing parapet, set back to create minimum impact on the building, and featuring a mainly glazed wall looking out onto a wraparound terrace with views across Clerkenwell and around to St Paul’s Cathedral.
