Our summer trip this year was to Oxford where some inspiring new buildings sit alongside the old spires. We did tours of Herzog and de Meuron’s Blavatnik School of Government; Wilkinson Eyre’s Weston Library; Zaha Hadid’s Middle East Centre at St Antony’s College and rested at the roof café at the Ashmolean refurbished by Rick Mather. Tibits vegetarian restaurants are not only growing their veg but their business too. Emrys are working on their new restaurant which will open this summer at London Bankside. We are looking forward to eating some delicious veg in the new glass extension in the rear courtyard.
