Arts and Culture Commercial Mixed-use

A locally listed board school has been transformed into a mixed-use arts scheme. Tired elements of the school were removed and replaced with three large photographic studios, topped with large roof lights which capture soft north light. The rest of the school was renovated to create new breakout spaces, a bar, and reception area. The mix of old and new produced an inspiring yet relaxed atmosphere, ideal for a creative community to flourish. It was also very comforting to receive a RIBA Award, and a Hammersmith Society Award.
