Mole House

All Projects Private Residential

This new build family house sits in an area of outstanding natural beauty in Kent. We identified a slither of land that fell within the village boundary and outside of the green belt and designed the house within this land of opportunity. The house was conceived as a chain of three barns separated by  two glazed links. The facades are clad in horizontal timber weather boarding in keeping with the local vernacular. In order to emphasise these three separate forms, the outer barns are painted black and the inner barn white.
